Monte Vista Christian School offers a fabulous performing arts program for Bay Area students. MVC is proud to offer classes in Instrumental Arts, Vocal Arts, Theater, and Visual Arts, all of which have use of a new performing arts center. Students participating in this performing arts program in Watsonville, California find joy in their learning. One parent says, “Our family loves that music is so woven into the MVC experience. Whether it’s the band playing at a football game or the orchestra playing at a concert hall, we find music that stirs the soul at MVC.” This performing arts program in Santa Cruz is proud to be using a new, state-of-the-art performing arts building. The Don Price Performing Arts Chapel is a building envisioned by one of the early founders of MVC, and brought to fruition in recent years. Former Headmaster Don Price understood the key role the arts can and should play in a well-rounded Christian education, and was faithful in keeping this need before the MVC community. MVC’s current leadership recognizes Mr. Price’s vision by naming this new facility in his honor. Students participating in MVC’s Bay Area performing arts program enjoy putting on plays and musicals in this new 450-seat auditorium.
